Background:
Dovecot Primary school has a new PFI building offering a wide range of extra-curricular activities including football, netball, athletics, music, flute, violin, guitar, music clubs, needlework, chess, computers, cooking, salsa, youth club, French and Latin. There is also a new initiative called 'Dovecare' which provides wraparound care for nursery pupils. It has close links with Broadgreen Community School. It is a caring, happy school with a calm approach. A committed team who put pupils needs first. It has high expectations of work and behaviour.
