Woodchurch High School Engineering College is a secondary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 11 to 16. It is housed in modern buildings, which ensure a high standard of facilities in a comfortable, secure and caring environment. The school is surrounded by extensive playing fields and has the use of an adjacent leisure centre and athletics track. Information and communication technology is taught both across the curriculum and within timetabled lessons. Clubs and societies meet at lunchtime, after-school, or at weekends. Pupils in the school enjoy a wide range of extra-curricular activity in artistic areas such as music, dance and drama. The school has extensive playing fields and often several football and netball teams can be seen playing matches on Saturday mornings and after-school. The school aims to deliver teaching of the highest quality that motivates, stimulates and challenges the pupils.
