St Mary's Catholic College is a voluntary aided comprehensive school educating boys and girls in the age range of 11-18. The school has a large playgrounds and a grassed area with benches and tables for pupils to use as a quiet outdoor facility during break and lunchtime. The school has a new state-of-the-art science and technology building, containing eight science laboratories and two food technology rooms, a much expanded library and learning centre providing books, computers and audio-visual resources to support pupils' learning. The school has a wide range of sporting activities including soccer, netball, cross-country, golf, judo, trampoline, rounders, cricket, athletics and badminton. The school aims to provide a caring, Christian environment for learning.
