Founded in 1953; upper-school corridor has four classrooms; lower-school corridor has five classrooms; also school hall, staffroom, and offices; separate school dining hall; separate three-class unit. Two ICT suites; government and school funds have combined to provide substantial addition of ICT equipment; interactive whiteboards/projectors in eight classrooms. Two playgrounds; extensive fields; the school runs an 'active palyground' scheme, led by Year 6 children for the younger children. Childre have a strong voice through student council, with fortnightly public meetings. Wide range of extra-curricular activities. Eco-school Silver status; Activemark Gold (2004); Beacon status (2001); Investor in People status (2004); DfES achievement award (2002); Activemark Gold (2005).
